Outside of work, I’m a happily married father of three who enjoys travel, the outdoors, and time spent with family — experiences that inspire my belief in planning for life’s most important moments.

Gil is the Founder of M.R.E. Financial Services Corp. and retired in 2026, succeeded by Jeff Brown, CFP®, RHU, BBA.  For those who got to know and worked with Gil, they quickly realized they gained more than a financial advisor—they gained a trusted partner who took the time to understand their life, their work, and their long-term goals. With over 35 years of experience, Gil helped countless individuals, farm families, and small business owners simplify complex financial decisions and move forward with confidence.

Gil is looking forward to turning the page and entering this next phase of life himself. 

This announcement I’m sure came as no surprise to many, as over the past decade Gil and Jeff had been working side by side in many joint meetings to ensure when this day came it would be a smooth, natural transition for everyone—most importantly, our valued clients.

Jeff and Gil still connect from time to time to assist clients wherever and whenever needed. 

We’re very happy for Gil, Carol and family.  Gil has worked tirelessly over a long successful career.  Gil and Carol are happily spending more time with family and grandkids, time on the road adventuring in their prized RV, and travelling to Australia to visit their daughter.
